Alma Mae Campbell, 92, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Born on November 3, 1932, in West Helena, Arkansas, Alma had been a proud resident of Lorain, Ohio, for over 42 years. She retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service as a registered nurse at St. John Westshore Hospital in Cleveland.

Alma was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Lorain, where she sang in the choir and found joy in tending her garden. Her warmth, strength, and devotion to others touched many lives.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Campbell; her son, Albert Campbell; her grandson, Micah Eskridge, whom she lovingly raised; her sister, Alberta Marshall of Kentucky; and many other cherished relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ruben Campbell; her parents, Albert Marshall and Ruth (née Braden) Marshall; and her sister, Estella Woodard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain OH 44053. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon, Ohio.
