Anthony Nathaniel Hamilton, age 37, of Lorain, Ohio, departed this life on Saturday January 17, 2026. Anthony was born March 1, 1988, to Lorraine and Curvin at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA. He accepted Christ at an early age.

Anthony attended school in Cleveland, Warrensville and Lorain where he graduated from Admiral King High School in 2006. He attended the University of Toledo where he studied business. In 2015 he graduated from Lorain Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Management.

Anthony worked at Ruby Tuesday where he kept everyone laughing with jokes "FRT". He then began to drive for Uber. He enjoyed it so much he started Hamilton Transport Company LLC in 2020.

Anthony enjoyed sports, including all the Cleveland teams, video games, and music (JayZ was his favorite). He was a huge shoe collector, many pairs of Jordans can be found in his collection. He always had a pair of shoes to match his outfit. Anthony also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, travelling first class and attending family reunions. Depending on who he was with he was affectionately known as Rock, Sweet Rock, Bruno, Tighten Up, Ant or Tony Rockford. All nicknames given by those who loved him.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his mother and stepfather, Lorraine and Darryl Capers, his father, Curvin Hamilton, sister Brittany Powell, brother Tyrell Powell, niece Sara'yah Powell, grandmothers Jannie Weaver-Davenport and Elsa Hamilton, uncles Stanley, William and Patrick Weaver and Gary Hamilton, aunts Marian and Monica Weaver, Theresa Tate, Anne and Allyson Hamilton, his favorite cousin Le'Andre Tate and a host of family and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfathers William Weaver Jr, Dave Davenport and Clifton Hamilton, great grandparents William Weaver Sr, Vivian Weaver and Flordia Lewis, along with a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at God’s Believers in Christ Church, 520 W 22nd St., Lorain OH 4405. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
