Danielle Marie Cavin

Danielle Marie Cavin, of Lorain, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away in her home on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving behind a daughter. 

DanaBoo, as she was affectionately known to loved ones, was born in Lorain on April 7, 1988 to the late Tracey Cavin and Terrance Guana. Danielle attended Lorain and Vermilion City schools. She most recently received her degree in business and real estate in 2021 from Lorain County Community College embodying the spirit that it is never too late to pursue your passions and dreams. 

Not only will Danielle be remembered for her inner and outer beauty, but we can never forget her big heart and willingness to help anyone in need. She went above and beyond for those in need. She was a go-getter, tenacious and you could not find a harder worker than she was. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She loved beauty, art, bright colors, and had an eye for fashion. You could always find Danielle at home doing DIY projects to bring out her own personality in each project she would do. She prided herself on attention to detail and organization. Seeing how well she kept up with her home, it showed. She had a desire for learning and helping others. Danielle started out her career in hospitality networking and making friends. Danielle ventured off into retail and customer service sustaining her career in project management and was a business owner.

Danielle is survived by her most cherished daughter, Asseelah (Sky) Lorenzo. Nothing was more important to Danielle than being a mother. She was an amazing mother to Sky. In fact, Sky was a light in Danielle's eyes. Danielle kept Sky motivated every day and loved her with every ounce and every bone in her body. To call her a great mother is an understatement. She did everything a loving mother could do with her daughter: arts and crafts, building gingerbread houses during the holidays and taking vacations. Danielle loved attending Sky's school ceremonies even if it was just for a perfect attendance award. She would cheer Sky on like Sky won valedictorian. Nothing was a sacrifice when it came to her daughter. There are truly no words that can explain how Danielle held Sky in her heart and the love she had for her.

Danielle is also survived by her sister Latrice Cavin of Lorain, Ohio, brothers Terrance Cavin and Alan Michael Cavin of Lorain, Ohio, grandmother, Eileen Cavin of Lorain, Ohio. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Danielle will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44055 on Friday, December 8, 2023. A viewing will begin at 11:00am followed by a celebration of life service at 12:00pm.
