Diane Denise Smith

Diane Denise Smith, 65, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness.

Diane was born on September 22, 1960, in Lorain, Ohio, to the late Arthur R. Smith and Leola Smith (née Griffin). She was a lifelong resident of Lorain and attended Lorain High School.

Diane enjoyed dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her.

Left to cherish her memory are: her son, Antone Montrice "Tony" Smith; her five grandchildren, Malik Montrice Smith, Jaiden Morales Smith, Kian Montrice Smith, Jaivan Morales Smith and Jaida Morales Smith; her great-grandchild, Machi Smith; her siblings, Barbara Ann Smith, Larry (Nakita) Smith, Michelle (James) Wessen, Tyrone Smith, Betty Smith, and Tasha Smith; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur R. Smith and Leola Smith (née Griffin); and her brothers, Arthur Lee Smith and Eric Smith.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
