Edward D. Hardnett Sr.

Edward Douglas Hardnett, Sr., 74, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Avon Lake, Ohio. Edward was born April 14, 1947, in Manchester, Georgia. After graduating high school, he was drafted into the United States Army to serve in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the service he moved to Lorain, Ohio. He retired from the Lorain Ford assembly plant after 30 years of service. He was a member of The Ministries in Lorain. He enjoyed exercising, working out in the gym and reading his Bible. Edward is survived by four children, Edward Jr., Frederick, Valerie, and Teresa; his grandchildren; his siblings, Connie Hardnett, Sam Wise, Linda Hardnett and Pam Hardnett; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Douglas Hardnett Sr., and mother, Stella Kate (née Buchanan) Harnett. Service held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery,
