Eric Eugene Davis

Eric Eugene Davis, 62, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Regional Medical Center on July 9, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio, where he remained a lifelong resident.

Eric was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church of Lorain and spent many years working in the field of construction. He was fondly known as "FREEZE" by all of his longtime friends.

Eric found joy in listening to music, building and remodeling homes, and spending meaningful time with his three beautiful grandchildren known by them as Papa. He especially enjoyed taking them to the beach.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory his son, Eric E. Davis Jr.; three beloved grandchildren, Sanai Davis, Ezekiel Davis, and Anastasia Davis; his siblings, Carolyn (Gregory) White, Melvin Davis, Selina (Robert) Gaddis, and Annette (Cornell) Jackson; and a host of loving family and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae Francis (née Davis), and his father, Garvin Bruce William.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, OH 44053. Pastor Deena Williams of Greater Victory Faith Ministries will officiate the service.
