Gilbert Gamble III

Gilbert Gamble III, fondly known to his family as "little Gilbert," passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2024.

Gilbert was born in Lorain, Ohio, where he lived most of his life. He also lived in California, before coming back to Lorain.

Gilbert loved watching sports and sitting at the lake drinking his coffee. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, making people laugh, and just lending a listening ear. Gilbert had a big heart and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children: daughters, Sascha Gamble and Aliyah Gamble, stepdaughters, Lauryn McMillan and Isabella McMillan, and son, DeShawn Gamble; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Debra Simpson (Gerald) and father, Gilbert Gamble Jr.; sisters, Shante Shannon, LaKeesha Gamble, and LaKeisha Tate (Allen Sr.); his best friend and brother, Tony Klucas (Amber); uncles, aunts and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ola M. Huddleston (Calvin), and paternal grandparents, Gilbert Sr. and Julian Gamble.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, Lorain. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst, Ohio.
