Janet Marie Williams - Janet Marie Williams, 65, of Elyria, passed away March 29, 2022 in New Life Hospice following a brief illness. She was born in Hernando, Mississippi on September 28, 1956 and had lived in Lorain County most of her life. Janet attended Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church in Elyria. She enjoyed decorating, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family. Janet leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Chantile (Patrick) Stovall and Candtress Williams; three grandchildren, Aris, Zaria, and Nadja; her mother, Janie Williams; her sisters, Shirley Ann (Bobby) Jenkins; Cynthia DeNeen (Rodney) Williams-Washington, and Traci Lynn Williams (Anthony); her brothers, Kenneth ( Caroline) Brooks and Nathan Williams III; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Williams Jr., and maternal grandmother, Johnnie Mae Reed. A viewing will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10AM until time of services at 11AM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
