Janice Marie Hitchens

Janice Marie Hitchens 54, of Lorain passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.Janice was born June 21, 1967 in Lorain, Ohio where she was a lifelong resident.Janice was a member Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in LorainJanice enjoyed playing cards, bingo, listening to music, cooking, doing hair, and spending time with her family.Janice is survived by her three children Rodney Thomas, James Thomas, and Nakeisha Thomas; Seven grandchildren; her mother Mary Hitchens West; her two brothers Eric Curry, and Anthony Curry; her three sisters Sharon Hitchens, Norma Hitchens, and Tracy Hitchens; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.Janice was preceded into death by her father Frank Hitchens; sisters Darlene Hitchens, and Mary Hitchens; her grandparents Clarence and Mary Hitchens, Mary Helen Smith (née Curry) and John Curry.Visitation will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from a 11AM until time of service at 12 PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 3900 Clifton Ave. Lorain. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
