Johnny Earl Golson

Johnny Earl Golson, age 55, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Lorain, Ohio.

Johnny was born on January 14, 1971, in Elyria, Ohio, to Lashelle Golson and Johnny Johnson. He attended Elyria High School, where he formed lasting friendships and memories.

Johnny enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved playing his games, fishing, traveling, and spending time laughing with his loved ones. His joyful spirit and love for family will always be remembered.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children; Brandon Sharp, Shunika Turner, and Terrell Jackson.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren; Kiera Louise, MaRyah Lashelle Sharp, Ra’Naiha Williamson, My’Aonesty Turner, Avian Sharp, Jamir McCoy, and J’adore Sharpe.

Johnny is also survived by his siblings; Fred, Tanisha, Shanelle Love, and Latisha Golson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends will miss him dearly.

Johnny’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 11:00am until time of services at 12:00pm at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain OH 44053.
