Keeyon Charon Capers

Keeyon Charon Capers made his transition into heaven unexpectedly on May 1, 2022 at the age of 27. He was born in Lorain, Ohio to Sheta McGee and Marlon Capers Sr. on October 26,1994 and was a member of Compassion Missionary Church in Lorain. He was a graduate of the Life Skills Center in Elyria, Ohio. He also participated in the ROTC program. On top of being a workaholic, he loved to travel, and was also very family oriented and played a major role in the upbringing of his nieces and nephew. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Sheta McGee, father Marlon Capers Sr.; grandmothers Claretta Capers and Brenda Jones; grandfather William Richard McGee; his siblings Denexxus McGee of Columbus, Courtney Capers of Columbus, Marlon Capers Jr. of Lorain, and Sharell Tucker of Lorain; nieces Sereniti McGee, Charlize Hazell, Samya Tucker, Aniya Brown, Aariana Whitehead and nephew Marquis Capers; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Keeyon was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents Eugenia Rollins and Julius Bryant; paternal grandfather Joe Lee Ward; great grandparents Clara and James Isley McGill and Gertrude and Raymond Ward; great aunt Loretta Wynn, aunt Tywonna Hurt, and cousins David Dashonn Wynn and Julius Bryant-Hurt. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon at Living Word Church, 2002 E. 28th St., Lorain OH 44055. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
