Kevin Mann Taylor, formerly of Lorain, was born to the late Wallace and Beulah Taylor on October 25, 1957, in Lorain, Ohio. Kevin was the fourth of eight children born into a Christian family of love and care. On June 1, 2025, Kevin rededicated his life to his Savior Jesus Christ. On this journey through life, Kevin held many positions that began in Lorain, Ohio. After graduating from Lorain High School Kevin attended Ohio State, later continuing into his career as a correctional officer and part-time Deputy Sheriff for Lorain County. As his career continued, he later held employment at Allied Cigna as Captain of Security. He later relocated to the State of Arizona in 1984, later establishing TaylorMade Protection and Investigation.
In his political endeavors he was well known and active on many levels within the community. And he held positions on various boards including appointee to the Arizona State Commission. Kevin ran for Pinal Couty Sheriff in 2012 and again in 2016. Kevin truly loved his sports and was an avid sports fan for the Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Ohio State. Yes, he always let people know that his heart was in Ohio.
Kevin leaves behind to cherish his life of faith and love for family his two sons, Kevin Lance Taylor and Adam Blake Taylor; three grandchildren, Ayanna Taline, Isaiah Lance and Miles Blake; one sister, Patricia Wallace (Kyle); and two brothers, Keith Taylor (Mary) and Jeffrey Taylor. Kevin was preceded in death by three brothers, David Lias, Robert Taylor and Wallace Taylor; and a sister, Temperance Taylor.
A memorial service for Kevin will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11AM, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain OH 44053.
