Kimberly Michelle Hitchens

Kimberly Michelle Hitchens, 53, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus following a brief illness.

Born on July 12, 1972, in Lorain, Kimberly was a lifelong resident of the city she loved. A proud 1991 graduate of Clearview High School, Kimberly was known for her deep devotion to family. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones and was affectionately known as the babysitter to all her nieces and nephews.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted father, Dalton Hitchens; her beloved sisters, Lisa Hitchens, Terri Wilkes, Bridgette Hitchens, and Angela Hitchens, all of Lorain, Cassandra McIlwain of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Allison (John III) Hairston of Mableton, Georgia; her brothers, Ronald Hitchens, Brian Hitchens, and Christopher (Rose) Hitchens, all of Lorain, and David (Rhonda) Hitchens of Charlotte, North Carolina. Kimberly is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Rose Marie Hitchens; three brothers, Dalton Hitchens Jr., Troy Hitchens, and Bruce Hitchens; and one sister, Wanda Hitchens-Moon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of her Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, OH 44053. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
