Lisa Ann Barnes

Lisa Ann Barnes, 53, of Lorain, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. 

Lisa was born January 21, 1971, in Lorain, Ohio. She graduated from Lorain High School and worked as an LPN. She loved to cook, listen to R&B music and be around family, friends, and her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping others as much as she could, which was cut short due to illness. 

Lisa Ann Barnes is survived by four daughters, Jasmine Sanders, Shakeyla Sanders, Michelle Barnes, and Brittany Sanders, of Lorain; four brothers, Min. Eric A Echols (Kara) of Mobile, Alabama, Melvin C Echols (Margaret) of Atlanta ,Georgia, Kevin Barnes and Jimmy Overton, both of Lorain; one sister, Brenda Spencer, of Lorain; four grandchildren, Nevaeh Lewis, Amari Williams, Jeremiah Lewis, and Au’riell Williams, of Lorain; five nieces, Kierra, Khristian and Kelsey Echols, of Mobile, Alabama, Morgan Echols and Nala Echols, both of Atlanta, Georgia; three nephews, Eric Echols, of Lorain, Terrance Echols, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kameron Thomas-Echols, of Mobile Alabama; and other loving relatives and friends. 

Lisa Ann Barnes was preceded in death by an aunt, Dorthy Lee Charlton; her mother, Anna Lee Barnes; her father, James Allen Fultz; her grandmother Annie Pearl Charlton (Lorain), her grandmother Lametra Ewing (Lorain), and grandfather, Willie Ewing (Lorain); and other loving relatives. 

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at Noon, at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
