Marietta Massey

Marietta Massey, 59, of Elyria, passed away February 23, 2024, unexpectedly at home. 

She was born January 29,1965 in Elyria, Ohio, where she had lived most of her life. She also lived in Cleveland, Ohio, and Kentucky before relocating back to Elyria. 

Marietta graduated from Midview High School. Following high school, she attended the University of Findlay. She enjoyed traveling, laughing, dancing, and taking care of her dog, “Stewie”. 

Marietta leaves to cherish her memory her son, Mychal Gault; her four grandchildren; her siblings, Cornelius Massey, James Massey, Christine Massey, Bernetta Massey-Jones, Malachi Massey, Sierra Wade, and William Massey; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. 

Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, Malachi “Barney” Wade, and Mary Lee Massey; her brothers, Johnathan Wade and Richard Massey; and her sister, Jackie Massey. 

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 12PM until time of memorial service at 12:30PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44052
