It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Mark Jeffrey Davison who went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2026, at the age of 73.
Mark Jeffrey Davison was born May 3, 1952, in Oberlin, Ohio to Robert Earl Davison Jr and Neidra June Davison. Mark was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
Mark grew up in Oberlin, Ohio where he had many family and friends. He attended Oberlin High School where he excelled in football and basketball. While attending Oberlin High he met his high school sweetheart Maureen Lancaster. They started dating while he was attending The Ohio State University.
They decided to get married in August 1973. Two years after he married Maureen, they both decided to move to Hollywood, California to begin a new journey together.
He worked at General Motors for several years before injuring himself. He decided to go into the field of ultrasound and cardiology. Mark calibrated and monitored the cardiovascular equipment during the "Baby Fae" heart transplant, which was an infant receiving a heart from a baboon in 1984. He decided to go into trucking long after his career in ultrasound and retired after 15 years of driving across the country. He loved visiting his family every chance he got while traveling through Ohio.
Mark's passions were football, cars, motorcycles and Las Vegas. He also loved to travel with Maureen whenever time permitted.
He is survived by his spouse, Maureen Davison; his three children, Marc (Monica) Davison, Deja (Michael) Lobo, Christopher (Wealthy) Davison; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; and his brother, Timothy Earl Davison.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Neidra Davison, and his twin brothers, Peter and Paul Davison.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:30 AM until time of his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain OH 44053.
