Mark Stover

Mark Stover, 66, of Elyria, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at O’Nell Nursing Home in North Ridgeville, Ohio, following a brief illness.

Mark was born on July 29, 1959, in Bessemer, Alabama. He moved to Lorain County in 1980 and was employed at Rockwell Automation, where he worked as an engineer for more than 23 years. Mark enjoyed watching sports and was a devoted Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, who brought him great joy.

Mark will be deeply missed by his son, Brandon Bailey, and his daughter, Jasmine Bailey; his 11 grandchildren; his brothers, Russel (Valerie) Stover Jr., Carl Stover, Gregory Stover, Roger Stover, and Michael Stover; his sisters, Shirley Gaines and Marguerite Stover; his nieces, nephews, and a host of loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russel Stover and Fanny B. (nee Noble) Stover.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, located at 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
