Markier Sudan Castile, 24, of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on August 19, 2026, at MetroHealth Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Affectionately known as “Mark”, Markier was born on April 9, 2002, in Sandusky, Ohio, where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Sandusky High School with the Class of 2020. Venturing off in the automative and factory industry.

Markier was known for his love of singing and dancing. He was a talented performer who brought joy to those around him. He also enjoyed playing basketball and, most importantly, spending time with his loving family.

Markier leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Kirsten Alexander; father, Mark Castile Sr.; stepfather, Kenneth Grant Jr.; his daughter, Montreal Castile; and two nieces whom he raised like his own daughters, Zuri Brown and Zya Brown.

He is also survived by his sisters, Mirage Castile, LeAsia Donald, and Aaliyah Donald; brothers, Mark Castile Jr. and Marshal Castile; and a special sister, Jayla Johnson. He leaves his maternal grandmother, Julie Alexander, whom he affectionately called “Granny”; paternal grandmother, Katherine Agee; paternal grandfather, Thomas Pace; special aunt Deanna “Buffy” Alexander and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Markier was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Shirley Ann Alexander; grandfather Fredrick Alexander; great grandmother Idella Pace; grandfather Thomas L. Pace; grandmother Susan Leslie Castile; grandfather Danny Lee Johnson; and cousin Mykelle Kincaid.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 1814 Milan Rd., Sandusky, Ohio. Services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky, Ohio. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky, Ohio.

Markier will be lovingly remembered for his vibrant personality, his love of music and dance, and the joy he brought to his family and everyone who knew him.
