Marsilles LeBron Mastin

Marsilles LeBron Mastin, affectionately known as "Celly," of Lorain, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 20. His life was tragically cut short as the result of a senseless act of violence, leaving his family, and friends heartbroken.

Born on September 16, 2005, Marsilles brought joy, laughter, and love to those fortunate enough to know him. While he could be quiet and reserved around people he did not know, those closest to him knew him as a caring young man who always had a kind word, a warm hug, and a genuine heart.

Marsilles proudly earned his high school diploma from Lorain High School in 2025. Determined to build a successful future for himself and his family, he was currently enrolled in an HVAC training program, working toward a career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry.

Above all else, Marsilles cherished time with his family. He loved spending time with his friends, his two nephews, and especially his beloved one-year-old daughter, Za'liyah Rhea Mastin, who was the center of his world. Being a father brought him tremendous pride and happiness.

Marsilles enjoyed gambling, throwing dice, playing cards with his brothers, and spending time at the local recording studio recording rap music. He had a passion for expressing himself through music and enjoyed sharing that creative side with others. Known for always being dressed sharp and fashionable, Marsilles took pride in his clothes and gym shoes and often exchanged outfits with his nephew. His style, confidence, and infectious bashful smile were just a few of the many qualities that made him unforgettable.

Marsilles leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Za'liyah Rhea Mastin; his mother, Billie Jean Moore; his father, Michael LeBron Mastin Sr.; his sister, Chandra Elizabeth Mastin; his half-siblings, Michael Mastin, Jr., Arika Mastin, Quaillia Milton, and Adriel Lakes; his girlfriend, Zyah Jones; his nephews, Josiah and Jaelyn Echols; his nieces, Akari, Ambre’l, and Ariahn Mastin; his grandmother, Margaret (Denver) Casto; his step-grandmother Trena (Ted) Mastin and his godfather, Uncle Joe “Lou” Chaney.

He is also survived by his aunts, Chandra Tucker, Sharon "Shay" Mastin, Tiffany (Corey) Prather-Mastin, Priscilla (David) Berthold, Sherry Moore, Mary (Jane) Moore, Veronica Moore, Lisa (Steven) Hughes, and Betsy Moore; his uncles, Joe (Denise) Moore and George (Tiffany) Moore; along with many other cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Marsilles was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Mastin; his grandfathers, Theodore (Ted) Mastin and John Moore; his uncles, John Moore, David Moore, and James Cleveland Tucker; and his cousins, Travis Spurlock, Zachary Spurlock, and William Charles.

Marsilles, known to family and friends as "Celly," had a gentle spirit and a loving heart. Though often shy when meeting new people, he was warm and affectionate with those he loved. He never hesitated to offer a hug, share a smile, or make those around him feel valued. The memories he created with his family and friends will be treasured forever.

Though his time on earth was far too brief, the love Marsilles shared, the joy he brought to others, and the legacy he leaves through his daughter will continue to live on. His kind heart, gentle nature, and unforgettable smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private service for family and close friends only will be held. Services will be officiated by Reverend Corey Prather.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brown-Robinson Funeral Home to assist with the cost of services.
