Mollie Mae Little

Mollie Mae Little, age 98, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Born on June 4, 1927, in Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Little lived in Columbus and Detroit before returning to Lorain in January of this year. She retired from the Lorain City School System, where she worked for many years as a lunch aide. While living in Columbus, she was a faithful member of Bibleway Church and a proud former member of the Eastern Star, Judah Chapter No. 1.

Mrs. Little was known for her love of cooking and her deep devotion to her family. Her legacy spans six generations, and she leaves behind a large and loving family to cherish her memory. She is survived by her children: Miles Little of Cleveland; Vincent (Francine) Little of Middletown; Tyrone Little, Charles Little, Freda Michaux, Loretta Little, and Hope Little, all of Columbus, Stephanie Little and Nancy (Joseph) Carter, both of Lorain. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, and many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Little; two sons, Russell Little and Allen Little; a daughter, Kathy Little; parents, Jessie L. and Lula Mae Chisholm; and her sisters, Kate Williams, Era Morgan, Betty Chisholm, and Gladys McBride.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11am at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain OH 44053. Pastor Bobby D. Calloway of Woodford Avenue Ministry of Reconciliation of Elyria will officiate. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
