Nathanyell N Clayton Sr

Nathanyell Nate “Redd” Clayton Sr., age 43, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Born August 8, 1982, in Lorain, Ohio, Nathanyell had been a resident of Elyria for the past 17 years. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed repairing cars. He also took pride in landscaping and caring for his yard, and he loved training his dog.

Nathanyell will be deeply missed by his fiancée and companion, Dorian N. Soto; his children, Tavari R. Clayton, Dylan Mass, Madison Clayton, Natalee Clayton, and Nathanyell N. Clayton Jr.; his mother, Francine Clayton Jr.; siblings Keyla Clayton, Christopher Clayton, Devan Clayton, and Timothy Clayton; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tyrone Wilson, and his maternal grandparents, Sylvester Clayton Sr and Francine Clayton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain.
