Ralph Frank Williams Sr

Ralph Frank Williams Sr., 78, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 4, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1947, in Lorain, and spent most of his life in the community he loved.

He retired from U.S. Steel after 30 years of dedicated service in the rolling mill. Ralph was known for his love of playing cards, cooking for family and friends, and watching classic Westerns and crime shows on television.

He is survived by his children: Ralph (Matte) William Jr., Darrel Williams, Yvonne Williams, and Trista Williams; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Ralph also leaves behind two sisters, Mamie McCall and Rosemary Brown, along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Alex Williams Sr. and Helen (née Young) Williams; his daughter, Regina Villafañez; and two grandchildren, Christopher Hill and Bohonna Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain Ohio 44053
