Renee C Taylor

Renee C. Taylor, née Moore, 75, of Cleveland (formerly of Elyria), passed away unexpectedly June 29, 2024, in Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland.

Renee was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived most of her life in Elyria, Ohio. She was a retired truck driver and she also worked in security at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. 

She loved shopping, watching romance movies, going out to eat and trying new foods, going to the casino, traveling, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family. She was a former member of The Original Glorious Church of the Apostolic Faith in Elyria and a former member of the New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland. 

Renee is survived by her children, Reginald (Alysia) Moore Mahoney, Robert Mahoney, Raynard Mahoney, and Consuela Mahoney; additional children whom she raised, Clarice Gray, Linvell Vactor, Clarice Vactor, Lawrence Vactor, and William Vactor; eight grandchildren, Tremaine White, Kristin Yarber, Kayla Yarber, Tyvon Mahoney, Xavier Mahoney, Xavion Mahoney, Maliya Mahoney, and Cierra Tevis; great grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. 

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, William Moore and Janie Mae Cook; a grandson, Raynard Mahoney Jr., and a sister, Regina Vactor. 

Visitation hours will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44053, followed by a viewing at 10 AM until the time of her funeral service at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 9th, at Faith Ministries Christian Center, 1306 Euclid Ave., Lorain Ohio 44052. The burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
