This passion was a natural segway into her chosen vocation, nursing. She received a nursing degree from Lorain County Community College becoming a Registered Nurse. Rheta worked in several medical facilities including Elyria Memorial Hospital and Northcoast Behavioral Health before her retirement in 2012. Rheta was a proud mother to her only daughter, Tamara Anntronette Staley, who she loved unconditionally. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing cards, listening to music, sewing and crafting, do-it-yourself home projects, spending time with friends and family and laughing. Rheta had a kind, generous, nurturing and caring spirit. She had a sense of humor and always had a good joke to make you laugh and smile.
