Rovella Lucille Roundtree

Rovella Lucille Roundtree, age 55, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Lorain, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Rovella was raised in Lorain, Ohio, where she spent the majority of her life before relocating to Columbus. She graduated from Clearview High School, where she was a celebrated athlete, excelling in basketball and track, and earning the title of state champion.

Rovella dedicated her career to serving others as a private healthcare provider. She was also a passionate entrepreneur, running a successful catering business. Her hobbies included cooking, playing bingo, and visiting casinos, which are activities she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. She was a devoted member of First Church of God in Columbus and proudly affiliated with Nefertiti Temple #1377.

Rovella leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Char Williams and Alexis Williams; her granddaughters, Amoura Williams and Jade Curry; her brother, Tracy Lamar Williams Sr., and a host of loving relatives and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly Goines and Robert Lee Williams, and her maternal grandparents, Money Goines Sr. and Lucille Goines.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of her celebration of life service at 11:00 AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
