Royetta R Corlew

Royetta R. Corlew, 70, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home.

She was born March 4, 1953, in Columbia, Tennessee. She lived most of her life in Lorain County and graduated from Elyria High School in Elyria, Ohio. She was known as a caregiver throughout the community, and was a member of Living Word Church-Lorain, where she served as a greeter.

She enjoyed cooking and feeding the neighborhood, dancing, and spending time with family.

Royetta will be sadly missed by her sons, Stephen B. Corlew and Gregory L. Corlew, and stepson David Thomas; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Michael A. Corlew (wife: Nadine M. Corlew), Chattanooga, TN, William D. Corlew "Uncle Bill", Lorain, OH, Teasley T. Woods, Louisville, KY, and Dwayne E. Woods, Lorain, OH; sisters, Marilyn M. Oliver, Elyria, OH, Teresa J. Ceesay (husband: Malick Ceesay), Louisville, KY, Michelle M. Howard (husband: Timothy Howard), Sacramento, CA and  Danielle D. Corlew, Lorain, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
 
Royetta was preceded in death by her son, Marque Y. Williams, and her parents, Roy Corlew and Mattie Thornton.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11AM until time of service at 12PM at Living Word Church, 2002 E. 28 St, Lorain OH 44055.
