Shirley Kay Marie Brown

Shirley Kay Marie Brown, 60, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Shirley was born in the city of Lorain on March 19, 1966. She was known for her warm spirit and generosity. She enjoyed spending time at the cassino and listening to Reggae music. Shirley also enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cooking, and hosting parties.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Sharay Barlow and Ambria Barlow. She is also survived by her brothers Forrest Knox, Larry Knox, and Oscar Knox, Jr.; her sisters, Marilyn Knox, Kimberly Cosme, Beverly (Christopher) Montelone, and Jean; along with nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Brown; her parents, Oscar Woods, Sr. and Easter Woods (née Knox), and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
