Stephanie R Shelton-Perkins

Stephanie Renee Shelton-Perkins, 68, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away August 11, 2026, at her home with dozens of her family members present, after years of heroic and fearless fighting with cancer.

Stephanie was born on October 27, 1957, in Elyria, Ohio, and lived in Elyria all of her life. She was a member of Heart of God Kingdom Church in Lorain. She enjoyed laughing, dancing, singing, playing video games (Ms. Pac Man), going out to eat, making memories celebrating birthdays and holidays with her family and friends, and talking on the phone.

Stephanie leaves to carry on her memory her four kids; Cecil (Angel) Shelton of Lorain, Chaun (Wyleia) Shelton of Avon, Celia Shelton of Elyria and Jerry Wells of Elyria; her sister and brothers Veronica (Joseph) Anderson, Ronald (Cathy) Shelton Jr., Laretha (Bruce) Fowler, David (Janette) Shelton, Codie Shelton and Michael Shelton all of Elyria, Doug Caldwell and Date Caldwell of Columbus, Eric Shelton of Canton and sister-in-law Regina Shelton of Elyria; 13 grandchildren, Anthony, Cecil Jr., Ceeven, Cerrius, Xavier, Nassire, Saniyah, Jacasia, Jaleal, Aaron, JaKaris, DaShawn and Nikita; 8 great grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Asiah, D’Angelo, Kilah, Analyse, Dream, Aziah, Da’Kari; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Perkins; her father, Ronald Shelton Sr.; her mother, Celia Bell Young-Vickers; grandmothers, Frances Capers and Theola Randleman; grandfathers, Ned Capers and George Shelton Sr.; a brother, Darryl Shelton; and nephews Ronald D. Stone III and Dominique Anderson.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain Ohio 44053.
