Tyrone ‘Nebo’ Flanders

Tyrone ‘Nebo’ Flanders, 64, of Lorain, passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 unexpectedly.

He was born March 7, 1956 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. He was always greeting others with “Hi” and “Hello” and was so respectful. His favorite bible verses were those of Psalm 23. He was also known for saying “Only God can judge me.”

He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid Cleveland Browns and LA Lakers fan.

He is survived by his 5 sisters, Marilyn Flanders, Charlene Jeans, Diane Johnson of California, Renae Johnson and Darlene Johnson; 2 brothers, Robert Johnson and Dewey Johnson (Andrea) of California; two uncles, Eugene Flanders and Kevin Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends; special friend Kevin Scruggs; and special thanks to special friend Leonard McCall.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Johnson (nee Flanders); a sister, Delores West and brother, Booker T. Johnson.

Viewing will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home. Social distancing and wearing a mask are required.
