Wambi B Davis Sr

Wambi Bryant Davis Sr., 48, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home following a lengthy Illness. He was born November 4,1974 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.

Wambi coached little league football in Lorain for many years and worked at factories throughout Lorain County. He graduated from Lorain County with his G.E.D. and was also certified to work on air conditioners and cooling systems. 

Wambi was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. He was known for his skills on the barbecue grill and for his cooking. He had a beautiful spirit and was a loving, kind, generous, and respectful person who had no enemies. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. His family will forever carry him in their heart until they meet again.

Wambi will be sadly missed by his children: Ashleigh (Jonathan) Cabrera Mason Davis, Londyn (Kaitlyn Widener) Davis, Barron Dahani Davis, and Brianna Pugh Davis, a stepson, Marcus Lacey; two grandchildren, Eligh Argenti and Kairo Cabrera; his mother, Yolanda Davis; his siblings: Kevin (Marla) Davis of Lorain, Shedare Davis of Columbus, Dessie (Melissa) Cheers of Lorain, Lance Cheers of Lorain, Shawn Allgood and Candi Allgood, both of Atlanta, GA and Asrield Wright of Las Vegas, NV; his grandmother, Cora Anderson; his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Gosnell; a host of nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Wambi was preceded into death by his father, Calvin Douglas, his paternal grandparents, Mary and Gestand Davis, Sr, and an uncle, Gestand Davis Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM until time of his service at 12:00 noon at Faith Ministries, 1306 Euclid Ave, Lorain, Ohio.
