William "Bill" Holt III

William "Bill" Holt III, passed away unexpectedly on January 20th, 2026, due to natural causes. Bill was born to William Holt ll and Carol Holt (Jones) on October 1st, 1973. He is the oldest of three brothers.

Bill was a graduate of Elyria West High School, Class of 1993. He welcomed his only child Cedric into the world the following year in 1994. Bill was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending 28 years at Ford Motor Company. Initially starting at the Lorain plant before moving to the Avon plant. He had begun school and training to become a skilled tradesman before his passing.

Bill is a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Elyria Ohio. He loved basketball, baseball, laughing and joking around with everyone, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved to call everyone to reminisce about old times and to catch up. Bill was somebody who could be relied upon if you ever needed anything. He was very loyal, generous, and helpful to those he knew, and even those he didn't. All of these things made him beloved by many.

William III "Bill" is survived by his son Cedric Holt, father and mother William Holt II and Carol Holt (Jones), brothers Michael Holt (Crystal) and Jeremey Holt (Minga), nephews Jayden and Jaxon Holt, niece Jayla Cruz, and a host of beloved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Richard and Bernice Jones, paternal grandparents William Holt Sr. and Mary Ellen Holt.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 11 AM until time of the Celebration of Life service at Noon at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain OH 44053. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
