Wonder Jean Brown

Wonder Jean Brown, 72, of Elyria, was born on December 5,1950 to her parents Brady and Mary Maben in Ripley, Tennessee.

She spent the majority of her early life in Elyria. She later moved to Dallas, Texas with her two young daughters, where she worked at Presbyterian Hospital as a health aide for many years.  Wonder later returned to Elyria to help with the care of her father, while working for Visiting Angels.

Wonder is survived by her daughter Loukisha Brown of Dallas, Texas; grandson Jourdain Coleman of Houston, Texas; siblings: Vicki McDonald (Luther) of Marysville Ohio, Kim Maben of Concord North Carolina, Rita Bowman, Charles Maben, and Larry Maben (Bridget), all of Elyria Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Darnell Brown and her daughter Talitha Christine Brown; parents Brady and Mary Maben; maternal and paternal grandparents John Marshall and Lurree Maben, Charlie and Ada Crook; niece LaTisha Maben and great nephew Hayden Willis.

Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11am at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain Ohio 44052.
